Cabo de la nao (Jávea)

  • What to expect: Near to Jávea an inviting town you will enter an area packed with unusual dive sites, the first thing you’ll notice is (cape) Cabo de la Nao. With its rich flora and fabulous colours an exceptional underwater attraction. There are small caves, narrow slits and the bottom terrain consists of a calcareous limestone with low-lying, heavily encrusted outcroppings, visibility averages 20 metres / 65 feet. One can meet all fish types who are typical for this region, the rare ones included. This location offers a number of excellent sites, several days could easily be spend on this area just diving and exploring. A "must see" in this vicinity is a large rock which sticks out 5 metres /16 feet above the sea surface. It hides a total of four holes in 27 metres / 88 feet of water which all lead to the interior of the rock and end up in a large hollow room.
